T3 Training Kicks Off with Strong First Session

We’re excited to share that our Tethered Technician Training (T3) program officially launched this week, with nine participants attending the first class. This certificate-based course is designed to equip community members with practical tools and insights to better understand and support those experiencing street homelessness.

Led by Dr. Dani Robinette, the session opened with a strong foundation—covering person-first language, class expectations, and key definitions related to housing and street homelessness. Attendees received printed materials and participated in both a pre-quiz and post-quiz to assess learning outcomes.

Class 1 also introduced important topics like setting boundaries, the role of self-care, and how participants will engage in relationship-building with individuals in shelterless situations. Great discussion and meaningful connections helped set the tone for a powerful learning journey ahead.

We’re encouraged by the heart and engagement of this first T3 cohort and look forward to building on this momentum in the coming weeks.

Thank you for supporting Hand Up Housing as we continue to train compassionate leaders in our community.

We Need Your Support to Keep This Going

The Tethered Technician Training program is more than a class-it’s a vital step toward ending street homelessness with compassion, education, and real human connection. But we can’t do it alone. In order to continue offering this program throughout 2025 and expand its impact, we urgently need your support. Your donation helps cover training, materials, outreach coordination, and continued support for both participants and those they serve.
