Instructor Spotlight: Danielle Robinette & 2025 Projection Breakdown

This week, we’re honored to spotlight Danielle “Dani” Robinette, our Director of Community Services. With a Doctorate in sacred, traditional, and indigenous medicine, Dani brings a holistic approach to homelessness—emphasizing both community and individual wellness.

Her journey began in 2007, working with a homeless encampment under a bridge near the St. Louis Arch. Since then, she’s become a passionate voice in the fight to ease the suffering of those on the street. Having personally experienced the instability of homelessness as a child, Dani’s leadership is rooted in deep understanding and compassion.

As we look ahead in year two (2025) of our, “7 Year Plan Solutions to End Street Homelessness in Madison County, IL” (Link to site), we are strategically focused on the Tethered Technicians program. This is in our opinion is the most important phase of the “Solutions”. Without the T3 program and the volunteers needed to fulfill the mission we will not be able to move forward.

This foundation centered around relationships is the base of the “Stability Pyramid” and where true change can happen in the fight to end street homelessness in Madison County.

This takes Dani to her current project to lead, train, supervise, and grow the T3 program in

Madison County in her role at Hand Up Housing. Our first training course is set to begin next

week where Dani will be training our first 15 Tethered Technicians. This a 6 session training

course over a 3 week period. Once the course is completed the T3s will be working in the field as a volunteer under Dani’s supervision directly with Street Homeless individuals in Madison County.

We invite you to join us in making this vision a reality. Your donation directly fuels the work of our team as we move toward a future where no one in our community has to live without a place to call home. Visit handuphousing.org to give today.

With gratitude,

The Team at Hand Up Housing NFP
