About the event
The Tethered Technician Educational Course is the first step in becoming a certified Tethered Technician with Hand Up Housing. This course is designed to equip volunteers with the knowledge and skills needed to build long-term, relational support with individuals experiencing street homelessness.
Participants will learm:
The role of a Tethered Technician and how to work as a team of three to support one individual.
How to build trust and relational stability, helping individuals navigate personal challenges.
Strategies for connecting individuals with appropriate resources while maintaining a compassionate and consistent presence in their lives.
The Seven-Year Plan and how Tethered Technicians fit into Hand Up Housing's mission to end street homelessness in Madison County.
